Fasting To 40: My Rules for Turning 40 and The Year Of Interesting And Curiosities.
My head has been swarming with ideas on what to write about, do, and be, on my quest to hitting midlife and turning 40!
I am T-30 days out until my 39th birthday.
I’m on a mission to do things, see things, be things, and hit 40, loud, proud, and in a growth mindset. I plan on discovering what turning 40 means to a woman and more particularly me!
I can feel it in my bones, my 40s are going to be the best years yet!
Do you know why? Because I’m going to make it that way! Mindset is everything, people! I don’t what to look back and say,
“I wish I knew what I knew now when I was 40”.
I want to help womens aging anxiety and instead inspire through my quest on figuring out what interesting, inspiring, and aspirational things I can accomplish.
I’m not trying to be Oprah or even run a marathon; I have no interest in doing that. I’m just trying to be the best version of me through my next year around the sun. So that’s got me thinking.
What should my “rules” be around my 39th year as I go in to take 40 head-on?
Although these might change, here are the ideas I currently have. I expect they’ll evolve over time but I’m sharing them now, probably somewhat premature so 1) I might speak/write them into existence and 2) Give you, my readers, a bit of motivation to do the same.
So without further ado, here are my hopefully interesting and somewhat random rules and ideas for heading into 40.

I hope to refine and evolve this list as I go but I’m getting it out there to get me started.
